Brandishing her weapon of choice (the selected works of Celine Dion) the damsel slays inner dragons, awakens Sleeping Beauty and claims her rightful place – in shining (sequinned) armour, and Funny Women highly recommend this storming show!

'A new SHINING ST…

Seven Year Twitch at The Orange Tree Theatre

Seven Year Twitch at The Orange Tree Theatre

8th May 2013

At Funny Women HQ, we love supporting great comedy - especially when it’s right on our doorstep! Our local theatre, The Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond, are very close to our hearts - they hosted our Charity Comedy Night back in January and have been a longterm venue for our Funny Women Awards. We can’t wait to see their brilliant new play The Seven Year Twitch, which starts a month-long run on the 22nd May.

Written and directed by David Lewis, whose previous plays include Misconceptions and How To Be Happy, The Seven Year Twitch is a comedy of marital disharmony and birdwatching. Whilst Fran hosts a dinner party and cooks an aubergine parmigiana, husband Terry fails to tu…
