From April to June 2012, Shakespeare's Globe is bringing theatre companies from all around the world to perform all 37 of Shakespeare's players in 37 different languages as part of their unique Globe to Globe festival.

90 years after women first got the vote, they are still in effect excluded from politics. Men outnumber women 4 to 1 in Parliament and progress is painfully slow: since 1997 the number of women in Parliament has increased by just four percent.

As the sun begins to wane and winter coats are being dredged out from the back of the wardrobe, Funny Women are excited to be sending 2010 Winners Thankless Child to perform in sunny Cyprus as part of a long-running series in partnership with the Londa Hotel in a charity fundraiser for the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society.
General Manager of the Londa, Jochen Niemann comments, 'It' is an exciting prospect to offer such young, new talent the chance to perform for a totally different audience. Limassol is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city and welcomes quality comedy. That is why we are proud to host the Funny Women comedy series here at the Londa."
